I would have taken Boro back at $5M across 3 yrs if that's what it really took to retain him. I'd take that vs. letting him walk, anyway, if those were the only 2 options on the table. There'd be no harm in having him as a spare at $1.67M in the last year if he fades and/or a youngster knocks him out of the starting lineup. I'm glad he's happy enough in Nashville to take such a bargain deal like he did instead, however.
