I don't understand this. What do you mean? They should just give him what he wants just because? Players can bolt and also hold teams hostage with a NMC/NTC but teams are not allowed to move on from players who they think are not worth the money?

Stamkos holds so many franchise records, captain of their dynasty years. Most teams keep him out of respect and fans are ok with it. They chose to try and keep contending and I respect it but it must piss off that core

I am sure any hurt feelings will be healed if they make it past the first round of the post season for the first time in three years.
