Hate to say it, might be time for Lou to retire.
The time has past it was when he put Mac in charge and left him to burn.

If Schneider resigns here, it would be a miracle at this point.
Well it's really hard to be positive... Why would he sign with us? We are an aging mess...Okay relax. The negativity is getting WAY out of hand. You're now saying that since this guy is signed through this season AND next season... the fact that the Devils are like 2 pts out of a playoff position six games into his first season, he's already looking to bolt. RELAX.

You can't make this stuff up.
15 yards to NHL for piling on between this and the Ryder no-goal.
Can't they see we're perfectly capable of self destructing - we don't need their help!
I have to say, that call is the poster child for the overall officiating issues in the NHL today.
I'm glad it made front page on Yahoo at least - showcase the terribadness in it's fullness.
And it had no impact on the game whatsoever. I agree it was a brutal call but that penalty didn't cost us the game in any which way.
He is thinking about his big pay day in two years as a UFA going bust.
I'm not saying Pete shouldn't be fired but threads like this are the reason why free speech and the internet are a bad combination.
From the Chere article:
Time for a shakeup?
“I don’t know,†DeBoer said. “We have to do something.â€
Wisdom.
We're a slow team up front and that can't happen in DeBoers system. Not having a solid forecheck will flat out expose our below mediocre blueline.
We've had this garbage defence for way too long and Lou needs to wake the **** up and realize that more then half of our d-men's are real average, 1/3 of our blueline can't handle the puck to save their lives, we're playing a "midget" who's supposed to have some offensive flair but isn't creating jack squat and gets manhandled in his own zone (or when dumping pucks), we have a rookie who isn't showing any signs of improvement and actually looks like he's regressing more then anything else, one of our better all around defenders is getting snubbed for whatever reason and Andy Greene is our #1 guy.
Enough said. We can blame DeBoer, Stevens or the usher in section 231 for acting like a ass but at the end of the day... Lou should be the one to blame cause he's the one handing this garbage blueline to our coaching staff.
We're all pissed about having Harrold over Fayne but I actually think Pete is saying to Lou that he needs more mobile players on our back end and since that's his only option, he's playing the lesser player in order to have a better fit in his system... Or not, I just don't know anymore.
All in all, this is a massive joke, the players look completely deflated in those interviews and our HOF'er Gm will probably cost us a top #10 pick.
So? Where did I say it had any impact on the game? This is the post game discussion and it made the front page of Yahoo for how silly the call was.
Am I allowed to discuss the game or is this another thread solely dedicated to FIRE PETE discussions only?

a human error..... more importantly instead of a stupid little smile that says it's ok we r gonna just take it up the asss debeor should have shown some ****ing balls and let his team know that its not ok to lose

mainboard is hilariously fixated on Kovy being the source of all our woes so far. total nonsense
