Clearly you can’t wrap your head around the point I’ve made.

NHL.COM updates their standings in real time…. And yes they do it with their (idiotic) points system …. and you can’t argue with that fact.

So twice in the past week, the Sens were temporarily knocked out of their WC spot, by the Penguins, and the Sens responded by taking back the WC Spot…. IF they had lost in regulation, the Penguins would be in the WC spot.

Do you get it now?
Lmao, who can’t wrap their head around it. read VERY carefully, as it been posed 4x now.

You: they are knocked out of playoff spot by points percentage, even though Sens are ahead in points, (but points don’t matter in that case according to you).

the next game when they are in a playoff spot by points percentage, you post they are not in because of points.

So for the fourth time, do you wish to go by points or points percentage.
Why aren’t choosing one or the other.

Or go on continuing to be obtuse and continue flip flopping.

Ottawa
With back to backs coming up---Vancouver then Edmonton. I think they go Forsberg then Ullmark. Ullmark vs Edmonton.
I doubt we win these next two games and go 4-0 on this road trip.

who cares since we won't win them!!!

Why can't people hope for good results? Stop being scared of a disappointment!

We are .500 on the road right now, with a heavy Western road schedule.

7-7-1. If someone wants to argue we are one game below, OK. A shootout loss to the Ducks that still got us a point.

If we can, somehow, finish these next 7 games and maintain a .500 road record, that would set us up so well for the rest of the season.

no, my team, the Sens responded to the ‘knowledge that they were knocked out of the WC spot, and that they needed at a minimum one point, to get back in the WC spot…

The point being, with teams so close behind them, they needed to step up and keep the winning streak going as long as possible..
But you still lost.

Look, you seem upset that the NHL updates their standings, in real time… such as when the Penguins won in Overtime, last night in the Eastern time zone…. They (The NHL) moved the Sens out, and the Pens into the last Wild Card spot….. I posted about it just before 11pm yesterday.

Then, when the Sens won in OT, in Calgary, the NHL ( in real time ) moved the Sens back into the WC spot ….

It’s pretty simple…. If you need further clarification perhaps someone else could dumb it down better than this?

Don’t bet on sporting events, so no, I did not lose anything…. My team came through and jumped back into the WC spot…. According to the NHL rankings.

Plus their winning streak has improved their “chances to make the playoffs” into the mid 60s(%).

Just answer the question and we can move on, as you are being obtuse. Maybe bold font will help.
Here is what you’ve done in the last week.

Sens were in the playoffs by points. ( you countered with, they are not in by points percentage)

Next time, Sens were in by points percentage ( you countered with, they are not in by points )

Thus you keep flip flopping.

Your purposely keep dodging the question each time, even though you quote the question each time.
So moving forward so you don’t need to keep the charade going.

Which one will you be using in your charts during the season

A) points to determine playoffs
B) points percentage to determine playoffs

Which is it A or B.

Nice try. You're not fooling anyone.
