Norris seems to be working out fine and he's still young. If they keep the Brady-Norris-Drake line together, they need to find a winger to play with Stu. Maybe G is the player they should replace. He's lost a gear. Yes, he's good on the PK and F/O circle, but so are Norris and Pinto. They can then use that $6.5M to find that player.Agree that Norris is the better player but I think we need the cap space to invest in a different type of player. Need more speed/physicality in the top 6 imo.
I would be looking to get Pinto or Batherson playing with Stu soon... He will eventually shut down if his line mates are not doing it.Norris seems to be working out fine and he's still young. Boston won last night after he posted it, so by pts % we'd be out but for all intents and purposes, a difference of .001 is a tie since you can't get partial points. NYR currently hold the tie breaker. It's Boston that is missing the PO right now in terms of points % as Tampa takes 3rd in Atlantic and Boston falls behind NYR and us and out of the Playoffs with .532
So technically @swiftwin is still right
And now we are back in.Boston won last night after he posted it, so by pts % we'd be out but for all intents and purposes, a difference of .001 is a tie since you can't get partial points. NYR currently hold the tie breaker.
Need to keep the Wins coming to stay in the playoff race. Need to get 10 points every 8 games played.
Stu may have to adjust his game and shoot more instead of setting up plays if his linemates aren't up to the task. The 1st and 3rd lines are really playing well, I think Perron will be on the 2nd line with Stu when he returns unless the 1st line production 5v5 really drops off.I would be looking to get Pinto or Batherson playing with Stu soon... Hard to change when you win though.
He needs to shoot more regardless of his linemates.Stu may have to adjust his game and shoot more instead of setting up plays if his linemates aren't up to the task. Ya he does pass up some quality shots.Stu may have to adjust his game and shoot more instead of setting up plays if his linemates aren't up to the task. Still clinging...It is hard to isolate this season from year's past. I am going to try and take this approach. New team. New management. new coaching. I know, same results, but the good stuff has been monumentally good, and when they have been good in the past, they were never this good.
I am going to cling to that for now, and with the wildcard still in reach, I am going to try and change my approach, or else this season is going to be extremely taxing
Sens stepped up, and re took the WC spot… putting a little distance between them and the teams right behind them….
Try again...
So you’re telling us it was better to wait versus rushing to make a post about Penguins grabbing the wild card spot. LOL.Sens stepped up, and re took the WC spot… putting a little distance between them and the teams right behind them….
At the time of the post, before the puck dropped in Seattle, the Penguins had won their game, and moved past the Sens, and into the WC spot…. Sens then went on to win, and moved past the Penguins…..
