Ottawa, ON
3-6-1 NOV.

1-9-1 when scored against first including 9 straight losses.

Team SV% is .881.

No wins vs. NYI, MTL, Philly and BUF (0-3-1).
Which is why this upcoming easy November/December schedule means f*** all. We’ve been so fortunate with our schedule, playing bad teams, injured teams, teams on B2B’s. None of it means anything, we suck against good and bad teams.

Advance stats are for people who can't understand why they always get dumped. There has to be a reason. Lol

And always seem to face backups.

Many have talked about this teams mentally fragile state and once again it’s an issue.

1–9-1 when scored against is really telling they lack any mental stability and strength to comeback and win a damn game!

I think 7 times they have allowed 2 goals in 3 minutes time frame or less! They are very easy to buckle unfortunately!

Last year it was the goal on the first shot .. always something!

Green also mentioned in his post-game that he could feel the shift on the bench when they went down 2-0.

We will wait and see.

I forgot he was a rookie GM so of course he doesn't have any previous wins. Silly me.

Would have been nice to have a GM with some experience.
I hope Staios learns from his summer of discontent and makes better roster changes in the future.

You do realize he's one of the problems right? One of the worse forwards playing away from the puck and cheating for offense. Not a good look when you're the captain. He needs to be part of the solution, lead by example (like Alfie & EK used to do). He says all the right things but talk is cheap. If he doesn't learn how to play the right way, and do it consistently on the ice, then I don't care if he leaves.,

I’ve been on the Takchuk doesn’t back check since he got here when no one else would say it because he’s the golden boy. He plays like his Dad. He wants to win but thinks his contribution to that comes from scoring and the center and D are there to get him the puck in scoring spots in the offensive zone and his job is to finish. He sees himself as a finisher and not a 200 foot player

Unfortunately he doesn't finish like his dad. Keith had a career shooting % of 15.1%. 7 seasons above 16%.

Brady is sitting at 9.1%. He's never been above 12%.

And so emotional - his post game interviews are immature. he can’t control himself, he can’t focus on the task at hand he gets overcome with emotion and can’t defeat the demons in his mind telling him
He is losing all the time.

Brady has no confidence he’s a winner, his brother does, that’s the major difference I see

and people are confused why the team has loser mentality.

I'll be at the game on Saturday. If they lay an egg ill shake my fist and continue bitching on HFBoards.

Which Ceci jersey are you wearing? I don't want to match.

I know he's struggling right now, but wouldn't the Ullmark trade count as winning a big trade? Got rid of Korpi and I believe Ullmark will find his game. Also liked the Jensen trade. Saying SS would do a dumb-ass trade like Dorion did is a head scratcher for me. Nothing he's done so far even suggests that's a possibility.

I wouldn't count them as anything yet. We have to see how these moves play out.

I admit the question was flawed as for a second, I thought he had more experience and might have a track record..

My bad. I forgot.

Undortunately advanced stats don’t tell the story of how the stars can only shoot at the crest as critical moments of a game.

Then maybe we should stop using advanced stats to pump this teams tires when they clearly suck.

And when anyone does, we should all call them out.

You know which posters I'm talking about.
