Excuse me… I speak Jive.
Excuse me… I speak Jive.
You usually do this when you know you've messed up.
You now have something in common with many others here -- ignoring your posts.
I wonder if it was voluntary or mandatory
Fiala is a strange case. The guy hustles.. he looks to make plays and frequently does (ie not a shot hog) - in terms of that he is not selfish. His impulsiveness which results in bad penalties, bad passes, general lack of situational awareness plus his inability to mesh with his linemates is whats wrong with him... that cant be fixed with like skating or shooting... but I get why he's doing it, to show he cares. Still the dude needs to f-in go ASAP.
I told you he's a golden retriever
shits in your shoe
but brings it to you later to say sorry
yes the shit is still in it
I remember a few months ago Surf posted a screenshot of his ignore list (the post where he said you weren't a real fan if you don't live in CA,) and I saw it before the mods nuked it. It was like 15 people long.
Can you imagine this board just seeing nothing but Axl and GBH posts? I think Herby was the only frequent poster here that he didn't have on ignore.
The thing about a forum vs a bar where say sports fans hang out, is that you can have visitors that are rude and annoying without any physical consequences.. and that is a shame.
I didnt like the comment at the time... correlation may not be causation.. but it is sus

Doesnt mean his comments didnt hurt Clarke's confidence..and possibly effected Clarke and overall team scoring.. it certainly didnt help...but thats a point that could argued either way.To answer my own question team scoring went to shit as well,
First 11 games, 3.275 goals per game
Last 9 - 2.89...
Makes sense that everyone's scoring is going to take a shit....as you said, correlation does not equal causation
The fact he’s the only one practicing when Byfield has only 2 goals and choked an easy tap in says a lot.Fiala is a strange case. His minutes are trending up and he’s third on the team in minutes played. Thats the most important metric in assessing how a coach feels about a player.Doesnt mean his comments didnt hurt Clarke's confidence..and possibly effected Clarke and overall team scoring.. it certainly didnt help...but thats a point that could argued either way.
Bottom line, a lot of guys are struggling.. Clarke, Byfield, Fiala, Laf is no points last 4 and the PP is abysmal. Last 4 games Kings cant score at all... whatever Hiller is doing its not working at the moment. He obviously gets more time to figure it out.. I liked some of his line adjustments. Moving Clarke off PP1 for anyone was a mistake.
Is it just me or are the Kings trying for a lot more stretch passes (Dzone to offensive blue line) this season in general, even more so lately? These passes don't seem to be connecting lately which leads to icing calls and little offense. It doesn't seem to be one particular player doing this, so if my observation is correct this could be a coaching decision.Doesnt mean his comments didnt hurt Clarke's confidence..and possibly effected Clarke and overall team scoring.. it certainly didnt help...but thats a point that could argued either way.

Dude needs a therapist more than practice.
