Honestly I don't understand what game you and some others watched, Laine had a very good game. Wasn't as sharp in some O-zone plays as I would've hoped, but leading the team in %CF (75%), about 66% xGF and generally just very good underlying numbers and was +1 at the end of the day. That's pretty far from a stinker...
Very good game by the team tonight. The team played hard and were solid in all zones. The game was very entertaining and was pretty high event :p
Helle was very good
Morrissey with his best game of the year, assertive all over the ice and shut down Toews and Kane very well. He also was jumping up offensively as well. More of this please. Poolman outside a few hiccups was good. If you keep the puck off his stick in our end it makes things so much easier.
Kuli and Pionk had good nights.
Bottom pairing was sound and nice to see Beau get a few points.
I thought the top six outside of Scheifele were good but not spectacular. Scheifele just seems to be in a funk.
The 2015 line had a night. Real high event line, generated some real nice looks and showed some real savoy NZ and offensive zone play. They however got boxed up in their end at times. I like the confidence of all three and expect as they gain experience they will iron some of the kinks in their own end.
Fourth line had a nice night. Good hustle by all and nice to see Chibi get his first game in.

They need to give him a big stretch of games at C to see if he can fill one of the top 3 C slots long term.
