No he said he liked their game but was going to point out a few things they did he didn't like . I don't have a problem with that , they are fairly new players and he's a coach . I liked how they played but i didn't watch them like a coach would either .

Beat me to it ;)

3) Players need to learn when the best play is to get traffic to the net and when the best play is to be creative.

And it needs to be identical to Maurice's idea of when it's best to do what, because god forbid these players could not be given the chance to decide for themselves. None of them are as talented as Paul Maurice was as a hockey player, and in recognizing what the best play available is.

Or something..

My personality is such that I see everything at face value. Every damn time. I'm not the best people person for this reason and I know I can rub people the wrong way.

Story of my life, too.

Unfortunately, the Jets media will not ask any tough questions. They have had years to question Maurice about his fixation with certain lines etc, nobody ever challenges him.

I guess that it's that, for me if I get definite proof that this team does not put winning first, it completely shatters any reason to follow it, and I don't want that. I seriously don't want that. Everyone should be pushing everyone to be better, even if someone's feelings might be hurt in the process.

Yep, but I don't put the media as part of the team. I don't need comments in public from a member of the team to determine if they're "putting winning first" or not.

Very good point, and I won't.

I just wish we see more of these good games with innovative thinking, and it's almost saddening that Maurice seems so defeated after (could be just an incorrect perception). He should be ecstatic that he just coached the best game of the season.

I won't go as far as condemn the Jets media because I don't follow them but this interview was definitely soft-little-princess questions.

I actively change the story of my life so I won't concede I'm not a good people person now. I take into account my weaknesses, and work on them actively. People also seem to find truth very refreshing, it just takes some strategy to deliver it gracefully (I'm not super good at it yet).

Also, the women absolutely love strong, truthful men that show the willingness to decapitate their enemies. They pretend they are all about feelings (they are programmed for mercy because they need to love their a-hole-children) but they want blood from their hero of a man deep down.

We do need a 2C but we don't have one at this time - so, we make the best of it until we can find one.
An obvious conclusion but for now, while Copp adds little offensively, he does help with our possession game and that's been a big part of the problem with our top 6 this season.
I agree that we should give him a run for awhile - he might settle down a bit and play his game rather than trying to play a game he isn't necessarily built for - he can help the line if he sticks to his strengths - hard on the puck, getting to the net, board work and back check.[/QUOTE
I’m good with Wheels as #2C, let’s grab another winger which will be easier to find
Connor Chef Laine
Ehlers Wheels XXX
Copp Lowry Perrault
Harkins Roslo Appleton
