Sure hope the team and the fans don’t take it as lightly as they did to Chicago.

I expect it to actually be fairly close. Probably oilers in 6.

Oilers in 5. McDavid with 14 points, Drai with 11.

Schmiddy plays lights out.

The Jets don’t have the D core to hang with our speed and have struggled all season against it. Need to be all over them early and often.

Oilers in 6. Gonna be very interesting to see how RNH does this time in the playoffs. He better not lay another egg like last time.

5 Mins 4 Ftg

Life is better with no expectations.

Koskinen will not play unless Smith absolutely implodes or gets injured.

I am not so sure about that on B2B nights, especially if there are 2 sets of them home and away as is rumoured to be and we are up by a game or 2.

He won’t play unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Winnipeg Jets "tough playoff opponent"....

2-8-0

Only two W's coming against Calgary and Vancouver, and both shutouts. I cant find the last time Jets won a game when their opponents even scored a goal..

edit; I looked it up. The last time the Winnipeg Jets won any game in which their opponent scored a goal, was April 15, they were 2-9 since..

I actually wasn't even thinking about that play in round. Only the 2017 year.
Yes he was younger, less experienced. The playins count for playoffs according to the NHL and he has 8 points in 4 games. So his most recent playoffs he found some success.

Exactly. The Stars sucked in those “exhibition” games in the bubble before the bubble playoffs began and they went to the SCF.
100% and any of our momentum and stuff vanished. This is a team that tends to get better as the season goes on. Having that cut and starting again boned us.

Stupid NHL. Stats count as playoffs....but the Oilers didn't qualify for the playoffs somehow. I guess a separate, anomalous play in stats line would look pretty dumb though.

I hope the Oilers don't see this. We don't need another Chicago series.

I consider it us making the playoffs. We were 2nd in the division when play stopped. We made it.

RNH and McDavid looked great but goaltending let us down and the defense was a little shaky.

You mean stats that don't even match up?

Chicago was on a tear at the end of the year and was one of the best 5v5 teams in the league after New Year's. They also beat us 2/3 of the games if I remember right.

Winnipeg we have beat a bunch this year and they have sucked lately.

I don't know why you bring up the Chicago situation as it's nothing even f***ing close to this one

Well I'm not on the ice playing the games. Just a fan, I can't fathom fear of the Winnipeg Jets. I chalk it up more to most people here not used to seeing the Oilers win much.

The Oilers learned their lesson last play ins and have had their most positive season in decades since.

I mean hey, you can approach every day assuming incoming disaster if you want to.
