Greer is seriously skilled for his age as rookie, if he can grow a few inches and put on some weight he’s going to be a weapon offensively. Amazing vision for a 16 year old
Cue the broken record but, again, that PP is gawd awful. Head coach continues to march out the same 5 guys regardless. IMO, 3 of the 5 don't belong out there. The puck is moved in slow motion with perimeter passing.
Anyways. Solid effort all around by the kids. A point I wasn't expecting. With a little bit of coaching, a 5 on 3 goal might have gotten the result the kids deserved!

We don’t cycle the puck fast enough on PP1 to use the bumper play, but we’ve continued to do it, it’s way to readable for the defense and the goalie. Would rather see more floaters from the point with EP21 going for tips instead.
he looked stellar. Was really concerned about his play before he was sent down, but it appears to all be mental. Very happy for him, hopefully he can build off it. He’s got elite puck handling skills for a goalie too, very helpful on the powerplay

4 Aaron Enright was on ice in red non-contact for today’s workout. He spent most of the time I was watching at one end of the rink skating and passing/shooting with a coach. My untrained eye guesses he might be a week or more away from returning to game action.
Looking ahead to next year, this team needs to bring in 2 O/A's that can make an impact. This year's crop is average at best. Also, players like Greer, Carey, Vaughn, Cali, Pazii, Long need to be protected. I really appreciate what Captain Arnsby brought to the table. We need some skilled toughness. This team is easily pushed around. Any names come to mind for O/A candidates?? Coughlin? Burns? Sima?

Rough performance by the troops this afternoon, slow start and too many defensive lapses to count. Ottawa beat Windsor and we are now back in a 1 point playoff race…. North Bay’s schedule is brutal for the remainder of the year, all tough opponents. Pazii, Wilson, Wigle the standouts today IMO. Wilson shaping up to be a nice defensive prospect, good offensive instincts as well. Going to need some stellar performances to keep that 8th seed…
I have recently been spending more time in the 2009 Born for the 2025 OHL Draft section.
Sima would be good. Would’ve loved to see Konnor Smith on our team this year, the guys a beast. Really curious to see who Winstanley is eyeing up at our draft this year

Wilson gets walked around pretty easy, it happened yesterday and the Brampton game. He's still a project. After 2 years Pazii is still playing the European way, needs to adapt to the North American style. Faster puck movement..
Sima was already here and wanted out , there is no way they take him back. So many better players then him will be available.
Next season some of these players will be in the same spot;
Only 20 spots on the playing roster and these are the ones playing consistently now;
Next year
25 (5th yr)
6, 7, 13, 19, 21 , 28, 29, 30, 34, ( 4th yr)
24, 2, 4, 22, (3rd yr)
5, 11,16, Cali (2nd yr)
2025 first round draft pick is guaranteed to play.
That's 19 spots and still have 2 overage and 1 import spot to fill.
Its a 19yr old league so you wont trade any of those, if any of the current players were going to be traded they would have done it this year at the deadline.
Boys are going to have to battle for their spots or they'll be in the stands again
Not sure what your issue is with Pazii, nothing wrong with his puck movement. Moses, Leblanc(s), Therrien on the other hand…. Pazii is barely 5’9”, the European style is the only style he can play to be effective, and he’s quite skilled. He will likely play in Europe after the CHL, so I’m not seeing the issue here.

Pointing out the style not the kids skill. He's playing in Smaller rinks, competing against better players and has less time , less decision time they have. Its a different way of thinking the game. That's what Natan failed to comprehend. Last year by the end of the season he was adapting, he's getting better. There's nothing wrong with Moses, Leblancs or Therriens decisions or puck movements. There's a big difference to watching the game were it seems they have plenty of time then when their actually playing where there is no time. The game is faster on the ice then what appears in the stands

Is this a joke? Therrien definitely leads the team in turnovers. Losing the Leblanc’s will be an addition by subtraction
