Didn’t understand that move either. Pete’s Thursday and we choose the Rangers to play Charlie…. He looked good for 2 periods but if he lets one bad one in he loses his confidence completely. Needs conditioning
For what it's worth, the Rangers have seen lots of bugs this year. Not sure the reasoning, but it happens a lot. Even at the Aud, which is makes zero sense. They'll happily take the wins though.

Looks like Larocque going back to play with in the OJHL, Jack Lisson backing up Money Mike. Sounds like the Battle Onion do not want to miss the playoffs

Can someone here give me a scouting report on Wyatt Kennedy. Pros/Cons, style, etc

Edit: was thinking of Wilson.
Ride and (Kennedy) should be sought after fall-back options to the too expensive top options; and probably excellent OAs.

Kennedy is a big right shot physical stay at home defenceman with a lot of grit. He defends the rush well and does a good job of keeping players to the outside. Good skater, not elite but slightly above average. Plays a hard physical game and can get under opponents skin. Great stick, good defensive awareness. Not a lot of offensive upside, has a hard and heavy shot but rarely uses it. He’s a good guy to put with an offensive D man, will hang back and cover the gaps. He’s 6’5”, a little lanky but still throws big hits. Not a top pairing guy on a good team, but a great middle pairing option. Very well spoken as an individual as well, seems to be a good teammate and intelligent guy, interviews very well.

Wilson (if you’re wondering) is also a big body at 6’5”. More of a two way Dman. Has the size but is still figuring out how to use all of it. He’s not afraid to play physical but his defensive awareness is lacking sometimes. Good skater, but not elite. Will drop the gloves and likes to stir the pot. Little more offensive upside than Kennedy and isn’t afraid to shoot the puck, decent shot but not elite. Balanced D man but still young and developing, good 3rd pairing option, plenty of room to grow.

Kennedy was a menace against the fronts in the playoffs last year

Would really like him for kingston this year but we will see what transpires

Anyone else hearing rumors that #13 Pazii has left the team, leaving us with zero imports.

Going to be a wild month, good job the line ups are free before each game. 😂

Laroque being showcased maybe...new goalie was in the arena NYE game..
That would explain a lot…

Haven’t heard that, still showing active on the roster.

Also just a random question/ curiosity; Has anyone seen John Winstanley at any of the Battalion games? Majority of the media releases are quotes / statements from Adam Dennis - Can not think of any other team or time in the league where an OHL GM seems to be managing from a distance like this

Another loss to Sudbury…. Lisson looks good, had a good game. We have no offense, power play once again had no shooter. Rough night for the D, tons of missed coverage and miscommunication, still throwing muffins on net. Dump and chase isn’t working, need better zone entries and a shooter on each line. A very winnable game against a Sudbury team who was dead flat for 2 periods and took a pile of penalties… lots of work to do with this roster
