Green and White play the first of five intrasquad games at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the second at 5 p.m. Admission is free to all intrasquad games, two of which are scheduled Wednesday and another Thursday.

Good deal on former season ticket subscribers, call the Battalion office for details….

Notes from Tue. a.m. Green/White game:

Score - Green: a lot White: not many

about 7 or 8 holdover players did not suit up, probably will in 2nd game;

Justin Ertel can really handle the puck, made a number of slick passes;

Nik Sima was skating like the wind, meshed well with Dalyn Wakeley on a line;

3rd rounder Jacob Therrien worked well with Owen vanSteensel;

5th rounder Dylan Richter didn’t look out of place, probably not a spot for him this season;

Cam Gauvreau left the ice late 3rd clutching a wrist, looked very painful, didn’t return to ice, trainers/coaches didn’t seem to notice or care.

Sima flew last year as a 16 yr old so not surprised there. Hopefully he avoids the Peters route of skating like the wind but not getting much done

I was just thinking the same thing about Podolioudk.

Interesting players on ice prior to 10:00am game today: graduated Troops Mitch Russell and Luke Moncada working on their games. And more importantly, Tnias Mathurin in red non-contact. Seems early for this. Does anyone know if he arrived injured or was there a mishap in the late game Tuesday?

More commentary please. Moved cities but have the itch for battalion content

Rodion Tatarenko is listed on London's training camp roster. I'm guessing he was just brought in to be Gazizov's interpreter; our comrade is homesick. Still wondering though about Tatarenko....any talent?

They have to do things like this to get cash in the till. Perhaps we could average more than 2000 fans a game for one of the top teams in the league and $10.00 exhibition games may not be necessary.
....yes....but new butts in the seats may draw in new STHs/fans.........called promotion...

Perhaps we could get more than just 1 exh. game and build a little momentum leading up to the season.

How did the players look guys! We aren’t Battalion back office. Money is what it is unfortunately. Anyone surprise? Look to take next step? Disappointment?

Are Petrov and Lukin in camp? I'd check the local papers...but...nothing! The Battalion site....nothing! Is the team still here?
