Early 2000s Lidstrom was him at his best

It’s hard to pick which Lidstrom Norris year is the best, but I think it’s hard to take Doughty over any version of early 2000s Lidstrom.

Unfortunately the year Drew won the norris wasn't even the best year of his run, I would argue there are at least 2-3 better, he was just criminally overlooked and this was the year they tried to rectify it.

Agree.

Doughty was underappreciated because his offensive stats don't jump off the page. JMO but I'll take him over many defensemen who put up higher point totals.

Doughty is an absolute boss in his own end and the stats just don't do it justice.
