The Cardinals suck.
As someone who isn't a bird watcher...what happened?

LOL @ Patriots right now. Watched the 2nd quarter when they put in the Stupendous Zappe and instantly scored twice. Went to bed thinking "I guess Mac Jones is toast and they're gonna roll now." Silly me.
Anyway. Most NFL teams look like tire fires one week, then like solid professionals the next. Makes for fun but often frustrating viewing.
Tell me about it, I'm a Browns fan and watched the Canes Monday thinking the Browns are a lost cause. Low and behold they curb stomp the defending AFC champs!LOL @ Patriots right now. DAN SNYDER HAS HIRED BOFA TO SELL THE TEAM THIS IS NOT A DRILL
Man, f***. that. guy. He can't get lost soon enough.
I still won't actually believe it until he's dead.
Losing to Detroit? Green Bay's coach can't make it through the week, can he?Green Bay somehow gets even worse
The Rams offense is ass (Tampa's too until that last drive)
The Jets (!) are 6-3
The NFL, man
I mean … I think he was 13-3 for 3 years in a row? Then A Aron goes and hallucinates for an off-season. I can’t blame the coach…Losing to Detroit? Green Bay's coach can't make it through the week, can he?

Oh, I don't blame the coach either. I just know how it works. They've invested millions in their star QB, so whose head is going to roll? Certainly not Aron's.
I heard someone say on the radio that Rodgers’ dead cap hit next year would be $99 million. I’m not sure if that was exaggeration, or if that’s exactly what it would be.I mean, did the front office really think they were going to be business-as-usual with that receiving corps? Were they delusional, or was that a soft rollout for a rebuild? "Hey Aaron, this is what we're giving you. You can stay if you want to, or..."
Also, I will say the coaching has been terrible. The defense has been mediocre at best too.
I feel like it's either a complete disaster, or he becomes the RBA of the Colts org.Jeff Saturday is the new coach in Indiana. Zero NFL coaching experience.
I mean f***, I coached the Detroit Lions to a super bowl appearance using EA Sports Head Coach video game in 2006 and I don't get so much as one phone call.
Peyton would have been meh without sticking his hands up Saturdays butt years on end.Jeff Saturday is the new coach in Indiana. Zero NFL coaching experience.

Some commenter said he thought that Saturday was a good hire for the Colts because their biggest problem is an underperforming O-line, and Saturday is one of the most qualified guys in the world to fix that problem. The Saturday interim hiring gave me more Martin St. Louis vibes given the lack of coaching experience. I guess that's been an okay hire to this point, but I'd think NFL head coach might be more difficult to jump into. I suppose with the right coordinators you might be able to pull it off as a "CEO" type of head coach, but I believe they fired their offensive coordinator recently at the very least.
I guess so, but that sounds like the description of an Offensive Line coach. Not a head coach. I don't care for the Colts, but I have always liked Saturday, so it'll be interesting to watch it play out. Irsay is thought to be a pretty bad owner by most, I believe, so I tend to think what he's thinking will blow up in his face. The good news for the Colts is that just leads to a high draft pick in a season that has already begun to slip away. Some commenter said he thought that Saturday was a good hire for the Colts because their biggest problem is an underperforming O-line, and Saturday is one of the most qualified guys in the world to fix that problem.
I have no idea if that's true, but maybe that's what Irsay is thinking.
