Jared Cowen gets a 4 year deal @ 3M AAV.

Great deal from Ottawa's standpoint. Cowen's already a top-4 guy, and is only getting better.

How can you say that when you're the one who made the "Q and A with Yeo" thread?

Because even as I said in that thread... this is his make or break season. His job is truly on the line this year and he knows it.

So to get other teams in our division's perspective and inside information. I'm following Dater with the Avs, Cooper with the Preds, Meyers with the Hawks.

Who would be the best to follow for the Stars, Blues and Jets ya think?

As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, Tom Gilbert expected to join the Panthers on a PTO.

Good for Gilbert. Hope he gets a deal.

Go with Kuc and Sassone for Hawks. Kuc seems to be the best.

Dater sucks but it's the best Avs have. You get much, much better info from this forum.

Thank you, two down, one to go! Anybody got a good Stars guy?

Mike Heika. Defending Big D has good stuff too.

Looks like we may have "gotten rid of him" just in time.

I feel bad saying that. I really liked him. Except for his tendency to go high and wide on breakaways.

Top 100 NHL forwards according to ESPN. Parise, Koivu and Pominville are listed, but overall this is bad. Sven Baertschi is included while Bobby Ryan has fallen off the face of the earth, and that's just the beginning.

Disney owns ESPN. Disney owns Ducks. Ducks owned Ryan. Therefore ESPN owned Ryan. Obviously they are going to sell off an asset and say it was worth it.

ESPN ranked NHL coaches

Yeo at #24, tied with Kevin Dineen (FLA)

TR ranked higher at 19.

Sucks about Clutter. I'm sure he was super pumped to get out there and show what he can do
