I mean that was a garbage penalty to call, but it's the Canucks.. so I don't remotely care, glad they got swept.
There's a point to that argument, but it didnt look like it was pure shoulder to shoulder to me, at least when I looked. I'm no longer watching on my DVR tho so I can't go back and see it unless they replay it.
AV deserves to be canned for simply holding a grudge against Luongo. One player that actually showed up for their team in the series, and the coach makes him sit?
Bingo. Luongo is being hung out to dry intentionally.
That is why I would not mind having Luongo for a few years on a cheap contract, and I want nothing to do with AV at all.
I can't help but wonder why AV would hang Luongo out to dry like that. After all, he's probably going to get canned himself before Luongo leaves Vancouver.
Exactly. After game 3, he said this is Scheid's team. Which is funny considering some are starting to wonder if the Nucks should keep Luongo and trade the other guy, because they could get a better package for him. But here's the thing, why on earth would they want to keep Luongo after they @#$!ed on him? Think he wants to stay? Absolutely not. You have to free him. If Cory isn't all you expected, then that's your own damn fault.Everyone needs a scapegoat (or in Luongo's case, he needs an escape goat to take him the hell out of Vancouver), and the Luongo circus surrounding Vancouver this year has probably eaten away at his nerves. Luongo probably doesn't even consider himself part of the team anymore, especially after that loss to Edmonton.
