I don’t care about Bedard struggling. But you know what usually helps? Being able to possess the puck for more than 5 minutes a game.

The coach has tricked so many here into thinking he’s done a good job because the Hawks are losing by 1 goal. Nevermind that they get smoked in possession and Mrazek has been standing on his head to make up for the constant mistakes.

This team has tuned Luke out, but they aren’t getting blown out on the scoreboard so nothing will change. Floating in mediocrity and no progress is made by anyone.

I think it’s ok to be at least moderately concerned with what we’re seeing right now from Bedard , while still expecting and believing that he’ll eventually snap out of it and show improvement. But no matter how you slice it him getting worse going from year 1 to year 2 is not what we wanted to see. Sucks. Hopefully he works hard and gets better.

100% agree, this total rut they are in helps the tank but it was just 10 minutes of sleepwalking zombies I saw in the highlights. No effort at all and absolutely dedtroyed on SOG. Some of it is definitely coaching but man this team should be playing harder.

Every single thing I see pointed out that’s wrong with the team can be linked back directly to coaching.

And yet not a single media member will dare utter Luke’s name as a problem. Like f*** right off, this organization has the media under its thumb.

According to the gospel of line charts, Brodie should be top pairing and Craig Smith top line. We are reading this literally, yes?

Also, the Hawks don't have true top line players beyond Bedard and wonder why he's struggling. Oh but that sweet, sweet third overall pick from trying not to win too much yet again this season will do great when used on the seventh best player who may be NHL-ready in five years!

.Bedard only 1 shot on goal ...giving him only 4 shots on goal over last 4 games....Might as well be invisible...or sent to Rockford for such poor effort.

.Hawks skatibg slow...not movi g feet...beaten to loose pucks do not win board battles...cannot cut off puck carriers in d-zone...sleepy turtle g style..cannot gain entries..horrible neutral zone possession.. too many passengers watching..

It iscwhat it is...they know they have no hope...and could care less about doing sonething to rectify that..

It is trying to survive...keep it close in low score games..and hope our goalie steaks a gane here and there for the no show offense..
