The reason you play prevent is to prevent big plays which would give the opposing team more time on the clock to Mount a comeback. It makes sense to play it, I guess.

I mean, there certainly are circumstances to play prevent d... my completely novice and amateuristic football mind tells me it's not when the game is within 2 scores with a bunch of time left.

You Blitz and give up a quick score, it’s worse than making the team spend 2 minutes trying to score

I’m not sure about that. I think the Colts would have to add simply because of salaries and timelines of said salaries but I am in no way a football trade expert
