What’s your proof that Darnold is the same tier as Love?

I’m talking about Justin Jefferson being wide receiver #1 across the NFL. What are you talking about?
Justin Jefferson is "support" for a QB, not a "system". That's what I'm talking about. You're using the word "system" incorrectly if you think that having a WR1 is what a "system" is.

I already said that Darnold is in a nice situation. It doesn't take a genius to see that, and only an idiot would refute it. It doesn't make him "fraudulent" (if we want to keep using that dumb word).

lol someone is trying REALLY hard to prove that their QB is "legit" while dismissing a QB that has done pretty well this year.

Sounds like someone is seeking validation.

Why wouldn't the Vikings want to sign Sam? Because of the cap that they think he will take up, while also needing to fill other holes. Anyone that knows basic math, finance, or economics would be able to figure that out, but here we are.

Jordan Love 7 games this season with 60% or less Completion percentage, yeah he's elite alright

It actually is a pretty interesting thought exercise:

Darnold + whatever DL/DB/IOL we can get at the #4-#7 pick + same in the 2nd round + maybe a little more.

vs.

McCarthy + bringing in 3 $10-$15M established free agents at the DL/DB/IOL spots.

I think I'm actually pretty cool with either option. It's the 'Jordan Love path for McCarthy' option that I'm not super gung-ho about.

Lmao, so your proof is the same stats that show that Darnold is better than Allen? Way to go.

I said system and other factors across multiple posts. Sign your non-fraudulent quarterback. Do it.

He's a quarterback that only puts up stats in the system and with the best receiver in the league. He's a fraud. He would not be top 7 in passing yards or touchdowns on any other team.

I can't do anything, but as I said above, it is an option that I am preliminarily ok with, depending on what the contract is and what they do with McCarthy.

Also, it's not like Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, O'Connell, Darrisaw and O'Neil are going anywhere, so he'll still have most all of his current situation for the next 3-4 years.

Thankfully your team has Darnold then lol. I wouldn't want that fraud on my team.

I hope McCarthy ends up somewhere else. Kid deserves to win a Super Bowl in his career.
