If Kirk is done for the year which it looks like he is can the football gods bless us with going winless the rest of the year and somehow getting Caleb Williams? Please?

Likely not enough to get it done. Even if we do go winless, Chicago is pacing for both #1 and #2

We're 4-4 now... since 2018, 1-3 teams every year have fewer than 4 wins on the season.

Completely overrated. Besides, are you implying that drafting Hall was yet another wasted pick?

Drafting a QB should be considered every season. They're so hard to hit on, you need a lot of opportunities to find one.

Just like when Washington drafted both RGIII and Cousins the same draft... that was brilliant IMO

The fact that we drafted Hall has no bearing on whether we draft a QB next year. You should always be looking for the next one... especially if you don't know if you have the next one yet.

Caleb Williams is not overrated. He’s playing a shitty effin team with a defense that can’t tackle for crap With a HC who’s never been able to get the right DC.

Jaren Hall was not a wasted pick but he was not drafted to be a starter in this league. He is and always was drafted to be a backup/ developmental type of QB.

If you can call a 2 win team positive.

Still, the season pace has Chicago with the top 2 picks currently.
This is verifiably false at this moment.

Cardinals 1-6
Patriots 2-6
Giants 2-6

The positive for Chicago is they have won 2 of their last 3 and both were by a decent margin (20 and 18 points). They are trending towards winning.

I forgot about AZ, but the Pat's and Giants only slipped in because they already played today, both losing, Chicago plays tonight. Prior to the Pats and Giants losses today, they were above Chicago in the standings

Fair enough. I still think the Vikings end up with Penix Jr.

Bring in Wentz. Can't be worse than Hall.

If they do draft a QB early next year I pray it's Maye or Nix.
