Blunden gave the hit. Nokelainen (and Sauer) got tossed for fighting after a fight was already going on.

Great hit by the way. Clean.

Blunden made the hit and got an interference penalty (which is Pejorative Slured), not Nokelianen. Nokelainen faught Sauer, both got game misconducts I think.

No Hitting League in NY tonight, folks. Rangers need protecting from the scary Habs? fml

The hit itself was clean. The circumstances were not. Blunden just jumped onto the ice. No one was replacing him. Just jumped on and blindsided Dubinsky. It was a good call on the hit.

Thread title needs to be revised.

It should be: Blunden clean hit, followed by whole Rangers team jumping him.

No... it was because of the fight.

A bit surprised they didn't toss Blunden for that hit. Guy replacing him was nowhere near the bench. He just jumped onto the ice to blindside Dubinsky.

Blindsiding someone by cutting in front of them while they have the puck? That's just Dubinsky not keeping his head up. It wasn't even a headshot.

That was not blindsiding. Ask Wolski what he thinks of the hit.
