Were they not supposed to do that?According to Alex Tuch, the team had a meeting about the lack of response to the hit, lol.
Well you lol'ed at it so i asked a clarifying question to see if i could figure out your position. I guess i was mistaken on how conversation works.Never said that, but ok.
Ultimately it’s kind of sad that they had to hold a team meeting because no one responded on the ice. No?Well you lol'ed at it so i asked a clarifying question to see if i could figure out your position. I guess i was mistaken on how conversation works.
I agree but unfortunately they do not have a time machine to go back and fix the original cock up. So all they can really do is have a meeting afterwards. The team is pathetic, but there isn't anything they can do now to make it better.Ultimately it’s kind of sad that they had to hold a team meeting because no one responded on the ice. No?
The difference between the Noesen on Thompson head pick and the Clifton head pick posted earlier is that Clifton's only involvement in the play was to deliver a hit, which he mistimed. It's the intent that saved Noesen though, he was playing the puck and didn't really have anywhere else to go so he braces himself. I think his only other options were, allow Tage to have the puck uncontested, attempt to shift away or duck under or exactly what he did, brace himself for the impact.
Again, I disagree with the non suspension, but understand the reasoning behind Clifton getting suspended and Noesen not getting one.
