Also I liked a lot of the moves Montreal made they were the most improved outside of New York for me so I gave them the Division

I mean with the additions of MDZ, Perron, Benn and PAP and with some added Depth they made a lot of progress IMO

My only question mark in regards to the Standings is Buffalo how did they not make the Playoffs?

Boston got worse for me as Thomas has taken the year off and Rask got offer sheeted and don't know where he ended up as Boston never posted a Roster

Boston also lost a good chunk of their Bottom Six and their Defense outside of Chara is questionable

I still think they should made the playoffs

As you can see, our forwards are outstanding, our defense is perfect with a puck-mover and a shut-down defender on each pairing. Our goaltending will speak for itself with King Henrik Lundqvuist and now Scott Clemmensen backing him up. We got real lucky with just $1,600 left. We have multiple superstars in our forwards including Perry, Iginla and Oshie as great additions without completely depleting our prospect pool. We now have Malcolm Subban to fill in Henrik's massive shoes once the he retires. Jarred Tinordi will soon help fill in our top 4. Scott Laughton, Seth Griffith, Andreas Enqvuist are all great forward prospects with great upside. We are looking to compete for the Stanley Cup and we believe we can win it all.

Pittsburgh has a great top 6, but the Rangers top 6 are outstanding. Pittsburgh's D might have Letang but we have depth in our defense. We do not put inexperienced D like Despres who has played under 20 games in the NHL and under 70 games as a Pro. Finally, Fleury is great, but as shown in the playoffs of 2012; he is incosistent. Lundqvuist though is probably the best goaltender in the world.

Please tell me you're joking. I've got the two best players in the world, for christ's sake. And beside each of them, I have a SUPERSTAR...

:pens forwards>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :rangers forwards

Also, Letang is not the only superstar on my defense. Letang got 42 points in 51 games. I have Bogosian, 3rd Overall Pick for a reason. He's a defensive and offensive stud and is definitely experienced. Also Orpik can crush your forwards any day. Despres has proven that he is capable of playing in the NHL. Go look at his ratings and stats on hockeysfuture.

:pens defense > :rangers defense

Also, I believe Fluery has won a cup while Lundqvist hasn't. He's been far more incosistent in his playoff career than Fleury. Just because you have a bad year doesn't mean you suck and are inconsistent. If you want to talk inconsistency, talk Lundqvist as he has not been able to win a Lord Stanley even while having defense that is blocking shots continuously. Unlike the Rangers, the Penguins play a fast, run and gun type of game and thats why Fluery is under more pressure. Also, we didn't have a solid back up thus putting even more stress on Fleury. Last but not least, I believe Brodeur had a bad start to the season. Because of that, is he inconsistent and a bad goalie, NO!

^ I agree about your offense being better, but you can't seriously think that Fleury is better than Lundqvist...

TBH, even I agree that Lundqvist is better...He is the best in the world imo...but if he can say that his forwards are betetr without giving a reason besides saying:
Pittsburgh has a great top 6, but the Rangers top 6 are outstanding.
I can say Fleury > Lundqvist...without reasons even though I did give various reasons.

Ok so a few things. Neal is not a superstar, not yet. He is a star, but he does not have that status yet. Ok so Malkin and Crosby are unreal, no questions there. However Wheeler is not too great, he is good but not at the level of my wingers and same with Kunitz.
Here so let's break this down shall we?
Crosby> Richards
Malkin> Oshie
Neal<Perry
Parise = Iginla
Kunitz = Callahan
Wheeler<Gaborik

So overall our forwards are pretty much even, and take into consideration I pulled these comparisons from where they are in our line-ups, ex. your 1st line LW is compared to my first line LW.

Zach Bogosian< Marc Staal
Kris Letang> Dan Girardi
Simon Despres< James Wisnewski
Brooks Orpik> Michael Sauer
Robert Bortuzzo< Roman Josi
Deryk Engelland< Anton Stralman

MY defense is more complete, I did not just plug in some rookies to fill in holes.

Goalies:
This is an easy one.

MA Fleury < Henrik Lundqvuist.

So as we can see our offense is even, my depth at D is better, and my goaltending is better. Goaltending is so important nowadays in the NHL. They will steal games. Overall: :rangers > :pens . You can see above my logic is sound. These are my reasons. Hope you guys see them all too and

Holy.....

1) "Neal is not a superstar" - He is a PPG player...Do I need to say anything else?
2)"Wheeler is not that great" - Produced as much as Iginla..Much Younger
3)"Kunitz is not that great" - Produced as much as Iginla..Much Younger
4)Crosby> Richards - Agreed
Malkin> Oshie - Agreed
Neal<Perry - Disagree; Neal = PPG; Perry = 60 Points in 82 Games.
Parise = Iginla - Diagree...Parise = Iginla...seriously? WOW, messed up logic.
Kunitz = Callahan - Agree
Wheeler<Gaborik - Agree

But at the same time, please note you cannot simply compare players of the same position since different teams have superstars at different positions. Comparing Crosby to Richards is okay but comparing Kunitz to Gaborik is outright ridiculous. How abotu we compare Crosby to Callahan? Thats what I thought. All my superstars beat your superstars. Plain and Simple.

5)
Zach Bogosian< Marc Staal - Really? OH MAN...way too inaccurate
Kris Letang> Dan Girardi - Agreed
Simon Despres< James Wisnewski - Really? Again? Despres has shown time and time again that he has adjusted to the NHL and he can play. Hes not a liability and just because he is a rookie, doesn't mean he isn't good. If that was the case, Crosby sucked in his rookie year.
Brooks Orpik> Michael Sauer - Agreed
Robert Bortuzzo< Roman Josi - I'd say pretty even.
Deryk Engelland< Anton Stralman - Engelland > Stralman.

And you know what, I know that Lundqvist is better than Fleury however I dont make stupid arguments just for the sake of making my team look better.

I am sorry but:

Haha ok this is just a game but I want help you try and figure this out. Neal is not better than Perry...I am sorry but no. Iginla IMO is a more complete player than Parise but Parise is younger; so they are equal. HAHA Despres is still a rookie...he is inexperienced. Crosby did not suck, I did not say that, but even him, in his rookie year, tended to make rookie mistakes. IT happens, everyone made mistakes as a rookie. Same with Engelland. Also your D is all offense with one or two two-way players, and that is not gonna win you a cup. You need a shut-down man paired with a offensive D man.
Finally, stupid arguments? Classy, my arguments were well within reason- not stupid; stupid would have been Crosby < Oshie....

Uhh, what? Your arguments make no sense whatsoever. You're saying that Neal is a PPG player when he only has one PPG season under his belt. He's NOT a superstar, he's a solid first-liner. Scoring 81 points in 80 games ONCE doesn't make you a consistent PPG player.

You're saying Wheeler and Kunitz produced as much as Iginla... yeah, THIS year they did, but that doesn't make them better players. Iginla is a hell of a lot better than Wheeler and Kunitz, despite his age.

You disagree that Marc Staal is better than Zach Bogosian... seriously? Staal>>Bogosian. That's not even close. Same goes for Josi and Bortuzzo. Josi is a much better player. And Stralman and Engelland aren't even comparable, but I'd take Stralman any day. Also, you're insane if you think Despres is better than Wisniewski RIGHT NOW. He might be some day, but at this point Wiz is the better player, by far. NYR has a much better defense.

Also, I love how you criticize Perry for having a 60-point season this year. Are you serious?! The guy won the Rocket Richard last year with 50 goals and 98 points. When has James Neal ever done that? Perry>>>Neal.

My vote goes to :rangers

I'm sorry but was there a rule that stated I cannot have my own opinion? No, I believe there is not. Of course I claim I have a better offense than you. In my opinion I do. I want everyone to know this and see my reasons.

Rangers have a 10x better goalie, better team defense/ equal defense, and probably better forwards. That top six is dynasty calibre.

Think they should meet SJ in the finals.

I'll chime in on the Rangers, Penguins series.

IMO, this is how it goes.

Pitsburgh's top six is ever so slightly better than the Rangers (Plus, am I wrong, but do the Rangers have 4 RWers in their top six?).
Third lines are about even, not really a huge fan of either of them, tbh
New York's fourth line is better.

On D, your top pairings are about equal, I can't really choose a side here.
Additionally, second pairings are also pretty darn even, but I'd give the edge to the Rangers here, simply because of experience.
The Rangers third pairing is absolutely better than Pittsburgh's

Goaltending is pretty obvious, but, Fleury is a great goalie, so long as you ignore that dreadful series vs. the Flyers (And, honestly, I think you should).

Overall? It's WAY, WAY, WAYYY too close to call.
