This trade was completed and approved yesterday but I haven't been at a computer since.

We here in Toronto are happy with this deal because had it not happened we would have placed Tim on waivers, so at least this way we receive a decent prospect rather than losing him for nothing.

Regular Season points, except, if a team advanced to the Conference Finals or further, they are considered a top team, for example, both the Kings and Devils are top teams, despite finishing 6th and 8th in their respective conferences.

ok. I would've been pretty pissed if it was the other way around as detroit finished 5th in the conference :)
