Maybe if the Isles had McDrai on the PP instead of Pageau-Cholowski.Maybe if Dobson was a better PPQB…

I am not a fan of Skinner either, so I don't disagree with that.Have a look at what Bouchard does in
I see your “Edmonton has better players” argument and raise you “Bouchard doesn’t have Sorokin, arguably a top 3 goaltender, to bail him out every time he makes a mistake”
I agree 100 percent, but some oilers fans think he's amazing. If Bouchard played on the Islanders he likely wouldnt be very successful. Dobson doesn't have the luxury of playing with Ekholm and McDavid every shift and on the poweplay with McDavid and Draisaitl every game. It's the people that look at analytics that try to claim Bouchard is good defensively but they can't actually describe one thing he does good defensively. The only reason his analytics are ever good is because he plays with a 6 million dollar d-man and the best player in the world every shift, it has nothing to do with him. He plays slow like a sloth. He isn't physical and has no urgency in his game at all. He is really good offensively and on the Oilers so I hope for his success but he's not my type of player.
Dobson is simply better, and they both have holes in their games. Big holes. Bouchard is perfect for Edmonton because he has a big shot. It opens up their power play because instead of just a puck mover, it creates a threat other than Leon and McDavid.I agree 100 percent, but some oilers fans think he's amazing.
He's not as bad as you say he is, but you are definitely describing him correctly.
It doesn't matter, he is not worth 4-5 first round picks regardless of where they land.Give me your best collection of four or five players each picked 27-32 in recent drafts. One player per year.
It’s hard to find one player—let alone multiple players at that stage of the draft that either make the NHL, let alone add up to the value of a bonafide top-pairing RHD in their prime years.
