They were so bad in the first that nobody wants to celebrate it.

Nah what happened was so many people gave up, fired Keefe, traded Reilly, made a petition for JT to retire and left to do other stuff.

Now they are too ashamed to eat a little humble pie and admit that they were wrong.

Kidding aside, when I played they wouldn't allow any of those types in our dressing room. it was always about winning, all positive all the time. You could be down 3 in the 1st and nobody would be grumbling about wanting to be somewhere else, or how the team had already lost.

The irony is that most of those folks think the Leafs stink bad enough to miss the playoffs, it's a weird place for a mind to be at

Yes correct - thanks, was typing fast and not well articulated. I’m willing to beat my house on it that the leafs don’t miss making the playoffs, and I assume most people would be almost as certain.
