Nothing like a Leafs win followed by sens fans booing their own team 🤣😆😂:thumbu:
Expectations were so out of whack in Ottawa leading up to the season. Sens Management and the local media are to blame. They all chose to overlook a critical problem... their defence, not their defencemen, their team defensive play, which is probably bottom five in the league. It flat out sucks. And you cannot win in this league consistently without it. Guess now they know. Sens probably finish in the 10 spot. Not bad for a rebuilding franchise.

Think if the Leafs played 3 periods each game they could get 3 points?

As it is they get 2 points for 2 periods of work.
There was once a Midget AAA league that gave out points for every period you won. I kid you not. So, in theory you could take away 6 points in a game. It was madness.

When was the last time the Leafs played three good periods in a game? In Denver I guess.

Seemed reasonable that one of Buffalo, Detroit or Ottawa could make a jump. But yeah, Ottawa's defensive personnel sucks and coaching couldn't fix it and no one surprised.

Good W. Good D. Good Sammy. JT played a solid game after a bit of a rough 1st period... but the whole 1st was rough for just about every Leaf.

Beat up Philly tomorrow. GLG.

Samsonov was solid tonight, a needed confidence building win

Slow start by the team but the righted themselves is in the second.

Tavares with a good game too.

Overall the Leafs could have opened it up a bit more at the end but did an adequate job tightening it up in the end.

Hope this starts another streak

Good bounce back game for Samsonov, hopefully Murray does the same and Marner is OK because it did look like he hurt something

Good game after whatever that 1st was. Samsanov had a nice outing and kept us in it until we found our rythm. Congrats to Mitch on 500 points. JT might be getting going again.
