Jesus[/B]. Good luck explaining that away.

For whatever reason his name seemed very familiar, but when I pulled up his fangraphs page he's just a nothing 25yo relief pitcher who's climbing the levels at the a-ball tier.
Pun intended?

oof, borderline strike. Not a full blown Yankee zone, but the umps are showing so far that they're ready for the season.

pretty darn close. There was a pitch in the top of the inning that I couldn’t believe wasn’t a called third strike. And then I remembered they are playing the Yankees

I don't want Roark near this rotation even with Pearson out

Ryu
Ray
Matz
Stripling
One of Thornton, Zeuch, Kay, etc. Or maybe if you want to go super-ballsy you give Manoah a chance to break camp with the team as a short term "force me to keep you up" audition.

then Pearson comes in and slides into the #2 spot and everyone moves down and whoever of Matz/Stripling/#5 guy has been least successful gets bumped down.

That's a bad call, Cavan. Let Springer have it.

It's the new Roark rule. Pushed for all off-season by Montoyo.

Hell is the idea that any game at any time Tanner Roark could enter or re-enter out of nowhere.

He wants Roark to be the first pitcher to be able to save his own W.
