Devils fans, how much of a difference in scoring upside would you guys project for him if he lands on Jack's line, vs Nico's line? DailyFaceoff does slot him with Jack and Timo, so that should be a prime scoring opportunity?
Well if he has to play on the third line with Hischier he won’t score as much compared to playing on the first line but we will see how the games play out in thr new system.

Would prefer to see him playing with Nico and either Bratt or Tatar and let Timo play with Jack and whichever wing isn't playing with Nico.

Real solid deal. Buys both sides some time to see if he's a 2nd line center just buried a bit with depth or not. I have always liked Mercer, but consistency is something a young player either learns or doesn't. Backlund struggled with the same thing at the same age.

Hit 20 G but only 13 A in a really chaotic year. Should be a middle-6, 20 G/20 A puck retriever who can slot into various roles, but we'll see. I think he's a winger unless there's injuries, though. Top-6 winger, middle-6 centre.

so far timo has never really fit in anywhere with the devils. making him a priority (understandable at his cap hit) might see us again the line-up shuffling.

Jesper bratt has made 18.87 million dollars over the last 4 years.

Here is a list of players to score more than him over that time and make less money:

Robertson: 17.5 (2 years ELC). (probably made more than bratt with ELC bonuses but idk)
Jack Hughes: 18 mill (2 years elc) (probably made more than bratt with ELC bonuses)

Oh wait that's the entire list.

That's a misleading post. Bratt was playing on his ELC and then a bridge until last season.

That's a bargain for the next 3 years, but he's likely going somewhere else after unless the devil's give him a blank cheque

Yes, we bridged Bratt allowing us to get him at a bargain rate for the first 3 years post ELC

You compared him to guys who signed their long term deals pre arbitration eligibility.

We have gotten, and will continue to get bratt at a bargain rate.
