Just thought that he might've gotten closer to $2 million then the $1.25 million that he signed for that's all. It's a great signing by New Jersey.

NJ won't be as far away as most people think if they can put the puck in the net at a better clip. If they are middle of the road in GF they COULD get 7th or 8th spot.

Don't know much about Quincey - maybe some Detroit fans can comment on what type of game he plays and why the Red Wings didn't want him back. They at least thought enough of him 2 years ago to give him a 2 year $8.5MM deal, so this is quite a drop in salary.
