Yost is legit but not usually the guy breaking these kind of moves. Really curious to see how this deal ends up looking.

New Jersey is going to look dangerous with Keefe as the coach and Markstrom in net.

It feels like it is going to happen either way, no idea if Jost knows new info or is just repeating other stuff.

Yeah, not sure he's a guy who would get breaking news though.

Would be cool to see another one of a few former HockeyBuzz Bloggers that became professional break real news though.

Goalies typically don't have much value. I'd be shocked if a first is included. Likely Holtz and a 2nd/3rd rounder.

That makes me happy if so. Markstrom will handicap the Devils even more, his career GSAA is -22.6 btw. They also better hope their defense bounces back because it was abysmal this season. Marino, Smith, and Bahl were horrendous defensively and everyone else was also bad. I think Ullmark is probably the best goalie on the market with a career GSAA of 68.4 and I still wouldn't trust him because of his playoff performance (-5.9).

You're wrong. It'll be a 1st and prospect. I guarantee it. Just not certain it's Holtz or Casey, but I guaranty it'll be a 1st and prospect and my guess is it's Casey or Holtz.

Lmao whatever you say bud.

Markstrom is 34, has only 2 years left on his deal and is coming off a season of a .905 save%. There is a 0% chance he's bringing back anything close to what you're saying.

Markstrom would have brought back that kind of return 2 years ago, not today.
