Granlund ? Gourde ? Nelson but I think Fitz goes after someone with term . Unless he is certain he can resign Nelson .
Not a C but he can see Fitz interested in Boeser .
My wish list
Miller
Nelson
Granlund
Boeser
Colton
Crouse
I don't see a trade for a rental plus returning a guy NJ almost certainly has penciled in for the right side on defense next season. Nemec isn't a player you move for pieces and parts at this point. As a sharks fan it would be nice if there could be something around Granlund + for Nemec. Not sure what it would take from the sharks end to make that happen (or if NJ would event entertain that)
I like the idea of getting a top 6 winger and getting Palat the hell off the Hughes/Bratt line. He’s a good 3c imo.
He’s done it before and he’s done at it. Either way just get him off Jack and Jespers line.Palat is not a center....
also, Nemec is not being traded for 30+ year olds or rentals. Come on man. Do better, HF.

What level prospect is Seamus Casey? A-prospect, B-prospect? Is he more or less valuable than Nemec, who has the draft pedigree but Casey has the short sample sizzle. With both Pesce and Hamilton locked up, which one takes the last RD spot long-term?
Hopefully they resign Kovy and move Hamilton . Pesce Nemec Kovy right sideWhat level prospect is Seamus Casey? A-prospect, B-prospect? Could have sworn we used him at center last year. Oh well. My point is still to get him off their line and down to the 3rd.Ondrej Palat has literally never played center at the NHL level.
I would probably say Casey is probably a B+ prospect.
I think they are going to try and dump Hamilton and his contract this summer, at least I hope they do.
Team with Hughes and Hischier looking for 2C sounds odd. Plus they have Mercer who can stunt with injuries, and other nice bottom6 C Haula.
if the + is celebrini, smith or askarov, nemec is on the table and they even can keep granlund.I don't see a trade for a rental plus returning a guy NJ almost certainly has penciled in for the right side on defense next season. Nemec isn't a player you move for pieces and parts at this point.
Might regret that if he learns to make better use of his size.Byfield?
Why would the Avs give up Colton if they're not getting something equally good back, like Mercer?Lol the Devils aren’t giving up Mercer for Colton.
Colton is probably the best fit in this thread because he’s not too rich for the role (like Nelson or Norris), has some versatility and scoring ability (unlike a pure checking line C like Sissons) and the price from an asset standpoint wouldn’t be something ridiculous (like Mercer). And the Avs certainly seem in the mood to do deals at the moment. Moving Colton would give them flexibility to go after pieces that may fit better.
What would you offer for Colton? Why are some Devil fans in such a hurry to get rid of Mercer, injuries are piling up and they want to trade a dude who hasn't missed a single game in his 298 game NHL career away?
Ross Colton should be the target if they can get him without dealing Mercer.
I don't think Colton is an upgrade on Mercer so it's pointless to move him straight across. I don't think NJ has anything Colorado needs that NJ should part with. What would you offer for Colton?
