Nintendo Switch #5

Yeah charging for that piece of software is pretty stupid but who gives a shit? For real, is anyone here seriously going to argue that they were excited about this software?!

Everybody agrees Nintendo first party titles are amongst the finest in the industry, they can get away with charging a $10-$20 premium.

Video games are incredibly expensive to make, if you can't deal with that, change hobby.

Also, it isn't like there isn't an ocean of very cheap and fine games to buy if you can't afford the Switch 2.

I'd like to know what in my sharing of that article gave you the impression that I was complaining about the cost of first party games or even the Switch 2 console itself? I was simply stating and agreeing with the overwhelming majority of people that think it's f***ing stupid to charge even $10 for what essentially amounts to a tech demo.

$700 Canadian for the MK bundle is fairly expensive, but it's not exactly far off what I was anticipating. I'll be pre-ordering the minute they go live.

Also, "if you can't deal with that, change hobby" is a pretty f***ing ignorant statement to make. But I'm fairly certain you know that, and couldn't care less.

The console itself isn't too bad price-wise. The games are a bit of a different story.

On the other hand you could argue that game prices have stayed relatively flat for the past 3 decades. So I dunno, it's just that the world is kinda f***ed at the moment.

Just kinda of a decent roundup reporting on Nintendo's thinking right now.

On the tariffs they said they hadn't chosen the $450 console price with that in mind, they also said they already have quite a few Switch 2 in the country already.(I imagine they are waiting to see what the hell is going to happen)

I also am gonna take back what I said a while back about physical copies being 10 dollars more. It seems that was based on a listing somewhere, need to see more confirmation if there is gonna be a difference between physical and digital.
