Nintendo Switch #5

I'm curious to see if this third party support holds up. I'm sure there's an appetite for it on the dev side given the switch's market share, but a lot of those game are last gen/already ran on last gen consoles. Even Project 007 i can't imagine is too intensive given it's built on Hitman's engine.

Switch 2 is allegedly stronger than a PS4 but still misses the mark of a series x/ps5 and we're getting to the point where the current hardware is starting to run into performance bottlenecks/issues

Mario Kart World looks pretty amazing.

The DK Platform game looks pretty ass but maybe i'll be wrong. Him just destroying the ground/walls will get old fast.

Surprisingly no info on when pre-orders go up. Thought it would be after the show.

Not a bad showing in all honesty. Nothing there that grabs me in particular but i'm sure many feel differently. If there was a brand new mainline Zelda or Metroid you probably get me. But with the next Zelda probably being years away and Prime 4 coming to Switch 1 i'll probably hold off for now.

To me this was amazing. We know each generation will get a Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, etc. Those games will come.

In the first 6 months of this consoles life span we get a new Metroid and a new 3D DK? Plus a new Air ride! Games I never thought I would see again.

I'm pumped.

Yeah that DK game looked weirdly barren/simplistic.

I'm also kinda stunned it's not releasing with a mainline Mario game. Mario Kart obviously but Odyssey was what, almost 8 years ago at this point? I think a lot of people were expecting they were holding back, but i guess it's still cooking.

Yea I was waiting for the Mario game...it never came. I guess they the DK game was that, but like you said, it did look pretty barren.
