Yeah he does stuff he won't get say with in the NHL but I'm not concerned.

I think he may be a little bored in juniors.

Should be. It's of course nice that he is so dominant but it shows that he has grown out of the league and that it is time to move on. As I understand the rules he is ineligible for AHL next year, is this correct? It would be a shame to spend another year doing circus tricks in the Q. He needs to be challenged on a higher level.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ehlers in the NHL. at least for a 10 games or whatever stint to see how he handles it. He's not growing or learning anything by throttling the Q anymore

How many games are left in the season.

I know it's unlikely but imagine if he managed to tie his point total from last year. Only 10 behind.

Wow. Ehlers should bulk up in the off-season, and really show us what he is got. Best hockey player to come out of Denmark ever.

I think the Jets told him he needs to get stronger, not bigger. Speed, agility, quickness.

Five games left, I believe.

Has a good shot at matching last year's total, for what it's worth...

This year has been several notches above last year, all things considered.

Yup, he's gotta move on. Its sad to see guys like Morrissey regressing in the CHL while they just bide their time waiting to go pro. Gotta change the rules.

I wouldn't say Morrissey is regressing at all. His all around game, especially his play in his own end is much better than it was last year IMO. Sure the points aren't what they were, but that doesn't concern me in the least. He's more pro ready now than last year IMO and I wouldn't be surprised to see him force his way on to the Jets this fall?

Wanna watch it so that he doesn't lose his speed and agility before pre-camp.

The mistake Morrissey made last year. It seams to me the Jets have been pretty clear in telling not to do that. Get stronger. Let his body mature naturally.

I think that Morrissey's approach is very cerebral and cautious, and he tends to take a while to adapt to and shine in a new setting. I think that held him back with the Jets last year. Unless he comes in with a more aggressive and confident approach, I think he's start in the AHL until he's more confident and assertive.

He needs to come in and play like he did for team Canada and how I've seen him play in the dub this year. I though he was too tentative last camp and was leaving too much of a gap in the games in the preseason.

Just for fun, I went to the Q's stat page and played with some of the stats. Ehlers has 17 less games played, and is 24 points back of the scoring leader. He has a .4 ppg lead over the next closest player, who just so happens to be the leading scorer in the league. It's pretty amusing.
