Like once or twice a season Hjalmarsson will put on a show in the offensive end like this. He is usually really conservative and stays near the blue line while Keith/Campbell do the leg work, but when he decides to be aggressive he does actually possess good puck control skills. It is very rare, but it doesn't really surprise me, especially in a practice setting where I can see him opening things up a bit more.

Still, I bet stuff like this happens all the time in practices. Teammates don't want to hurt each other, won't play the body as much, and players aren't worried about turnovers so will try out different moves that might surprise a defender.

I am not an Ottawa fan by any measure so I could be missing something, but it looks like Karlsson averages around 100 hits a season. It's not a huge number but it's also definitely not low. Where does the idea that he doesn't play the body come from?

as for the clip that was mad impressive, it was practice so no one was going to take the body but to get karlsson to dance like that is definitely impressive practice or not

I dont know I think he was trying to contain McDavid and ran out of gas, that first period I thought Josi was the only reason Europe came out tied. I'm not the biggest Josi fan and think he can be a little overrated as the Blues and Preds play against each other so often I have never been blown away by him but last night I thought he looked great to start the game and he could control that speed attack all night.

I saw the humour in the situation (funny ass gif of EK falling on his ass as the Hammer takes him to school, albeit in practice), but the OP clearly has an agenda when you read his comments. And of course the haters are making their presence felt. Pure HF behaviour, rinse and repeat.

I won't single out Josi based on last night's game (once again a meaningless exhibition to put it in context), which was a total nightmare for the good ol' Big Z (or anybody in the poor Team Europe thing). They are looking like a train-wreck, I feel bad for players like Kopitar and Josi who may not have a chance.
