what happened to his wrist shot from his spot on the PP? haven't seen him be threatening with it at all so far.. it just looks like he doesn't feel comfortable on the PP

if you look at his production then ya he's doing fine but overall he doesn't look as comfortable as he was last year, i guess that could be a positive sign for his upside
If you recall it only worked with Corey Perry or Sean Monahan setting the perfect screen.
Slaf hasn't mastered that aspect of his game on the PP he barely moves from his stationary position at the side of the net.
With either Caufield or Suzuki playing the line with Hutson he needs to take away the goaltenders eyes far more than he is currently doing.

We've go three guys who can generally get pucks through because of decent decision making along with Laine's one timer.
You are absolutely right we have to show we can score more ways than just constantly feeding Patrik or teams will sit on it.

We should show him video images of David Desharnais screening the goaltender just to send a message.
Wrong guy in the right place used to always get a good laugh on this board.

That quick pass to Cole was a beauty, he delayed it just enough for Cole to be at the right position and gave it at the right place. He's so consistent that we take him for granted.
His vision is excellent.
So quick to make those passing decisions, then to know exactly where the puck has to go - knowing Cole is a righty and puts it where he can one-time it.

Credit to CC because players in space are easier to see, and his timing to space is excellent.

From the games I've watched, his role on the PP has changed alot. He doesn't seem to get as many touches, and the plays seem to operate from the other side of the ice now.
