You'd have traded Caufield for a bag of pucks last year and said so. I'm sorry bud but you don't know what you're talking about here. He's been great for us. Yes, he's been disapointing in his last half a dozen or so games but he's been terrific.Its not about having "nobody", its about having lesser players than his contemporaries.

Surely you can see yourself that Caufield, Slaf, Laine ranks at or near the bottom of this list ? Its not an insult, it's just a fact. He need better wingers and Suzuki hasn't had the support other top Cs have had. From what I can see, I would trade our wingers with 19 other teams in the NHL for tomorrows game, how is that good ? It means our winger depth is bottom third in the NHL.
And there's NO way I'd deal these guys off. Slaf is only 21 and CC isn't even at his prime yet. And again, we have the best PP guy in the league and Hutson. He's got plenty to work with. Stop with this nonsense.
