Big dick Nick is a PPG player already but do you guys think he'll ever have 90+ point seasons? Or at least one. Doesn't seem so far-fetched anymore.

+7 and climbing.
He's not Danault but he's smart enough to know it's a battle he has to win for this team to be successful.
Feel free to come at me with the argument that +/- is meaningless and I'll laugh in your face.
Which team has been successful without a #1 center on the positive side and significantly so.

I heard Suzuki tied Saku Koivu with a record of 11 straight games with at least a point on home ice.
He seems to be a fairly consistent Lad.

Your actual question is which team has been successful without scoring more at even strength than the other team, which is a pretty funny question when you think about it.

There is nothing funny about it I'm referring to top contending teams in any given season. There isn't one who don't have a top line dominate the even strength situation. What I find funny is people who don't think the +/- is a worthwhile stat in a sport where scoring more is the only way to win.

the stat is meaningless when comparing players playing on different teams. For players on the same team, the stat is a lot easier to contextualize and make sense of.
