Blowfish
Count down ...
It has only taken 2 games for leaf fans to recognize the Ritchie most of us knew.
Leafs were certain they found a gem....
Leafs were certain they found a gem....
I can think of more than one former player who made entire careers out of doing just that.
They don't ask how they just ask how many.
Sure seems like it…Chirping the opponent I guess. That's all I got.
And only taking Bruins fans 2 games to assume Ritchie is gonna suck all year.It has only taken 2 games for leaf fans to recognize the Ritchie most of us knew.

He’s not a superstar but he put in 15 goals last year 10 even strength with much lesser players than Matthews and Marner so it’s fair to believe he may improve that number with the Leafs.it’s more the entire body of work he’s put up his whole career.
If he stays there long enough, because they will quickly realize what he brings to the table is almost polar opposite of what Hyman brought. He’s not a superstar but he put in 15 goals last year 10 even strength with much lesser players than Matthews and Marner so it’s fair to believe he may improve that number with the Leafs.

Nick Ritchie? Still on a top line?
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

Not a bad 3rd line option, I’m glad the B’s moved on but I wouldn’t be shocked if he had a better season playing with 2 allstars, if he stays there.he played shockingly sheltered minutes against very bad competition and just barely broke even in shot and goal share. He’s very bad.
I guess it depends what you consider sucking. He’s not a top 6 guy, solid 3rd liner, has trouble with playoff pace.No assumptions here. Pretty confident he will suck all year.

Best shot for sure - Toronto's perfect for a guy who lacks playoff pace.He has trouble with pace...I can't see him being in the NHL very long.
Playing with Marner/Matthews will be his best shot.
Ritchie will never be 10% of what Esposito was.My brothers (Wings fans):
"Esposito just scores garbage goals."
"Cherry picker."
Sound familiar?

I think he has a place on plenty of teams and would be thrilled for any of our bottom 6 to match his 15 goals from last year.
He, in fact, was a very bad third line option for this team just last year. Not a bad 3rd line option, I’m glad the B’s moved on but I wouldn’t be shocked if he had a better season playing with 2 allstars, if he stays there.
Then I’m sure he’ll make a great first line option for the Leafs. He, in fact, was a very bad third line option for this team just last year.
They should be bashing the 20m dollar bums in Marner and Tavares instead. They already have a 7 page thread bashing him lol
