Edmonton needs a top 6 forward, at least one top 4 defenseman, and an NHL goalie, and that's just for starters. And Nick Paul is the name they're going for, lol.
Why do they need another top six forward? They don't seem to have trouble scoring goals.Edmonton needs a top 6 forward, at least one top 4 defenseman, and an NHL goalie, and that's just for starters. And Nick Paul is the name they're going for, lol.
If 97 & 29 disappear as usual during the playoffs, Kane and RNH cannot support them alone. Why do they need another top six forward? They don't seem to have trouble scoring goals.
Adding a solid defensive foward in the bottom six is a really good idea. Along with a good stay at home defenseman. Nick Paul will be a solid addition for any team with post season aspiritions.
Ain't getting a goalie this year.
As usual? Lol. They've never disappeared in the playoffs. There's been no depth below them. Hence adding good bottom six players. If 97 & 29 disappear as usual during the playoffs, Kane and RNH cannot support them alone.
You might wanna look up McDrai's numbers before stating such, lol.If 97 & 29 disappear as usual during the playoffs, Kane and RNH cannot support them alone.
By them disappearing I mean not scoring a combined 3 goals a game lol, though they did disappear in 2017. As big of a Kane fan as I am, he has never been a big playoff guy. They need at least another supporter for those two if they want a chance. As usual? Lol. They've never disappeared in the playoffs. There's been no depth below them. Those are the guys who make the difference in the post season.
If our top two skaters disappear for any significant amount of time, the team is going to be hard pressed to produce offense. If 97 & 29 disappear as usual during the playoffs, Kane and RNH cannot support them alone.
You mean 2017 when they were still pretty raw and no where close to the level they have been the last 2-3 years?By them disappearing I mean not scoring a combined 3 goals a game lol, though they did disappear in 2017. Did he really turn down 4 years for $10 million?
Paul does have breakout potential (within reason). He's a late bloomer and has just been getting better and better. I could see him getting into the 20+ goal range in the future while being a defensive specialist.I was looking at UFA power forwards that might be a complement for the Ducks Zegras/Milano line… they need size but that’s a lot to pay unless Paul has breakout potential.
Well they have Hyman and Puljujarvi as well. Yamamoto is working fine with McD too.If 97 & 29 disappear as usual during the playoffs, Kane and RNH cannot support them alone.
Just because that's the price for Seattle, doesn't mean its the price for Ottawa. You will be hard-pressed to find a single Sens deal where we take on money for assets. If the Sens won't get much for taking Turris (and hell, maybe even if they would), they just won't take him. Simple as that.
Paul won't be dealt for a 3rd, extension or not.
