i am not very good at this. But i see Leddy as a fit on the left side for the Jets. It does help the Isles with Cap space as well. Who adds
I would think either of the pieces would get this done. Either a 2nd/3rd or Roslo.
Still holding out hope for a 1st for Leddy. People say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.
Even if it’s a 2nd, Roslovic is still a quality middle 6 piece that would fit nice alongside JGP.Still holding out hope for a 1st for Leddy. People say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.
I thought that to. I'm a fan of both teams.Even if it’s a 2nd, Roslovic is still a quality middle 6 piece that would fit nice alongside JGP.
Leddy has played with a spark this post season but needs a change of scenery bad. Roslovic would solve the 3W spot and be a better option then MDC (RFA as well) and rushing in one of the prospects that may not be ready. I saw he’s an RFA, I’m guessing he’s in the $1-$2m range for a contract?I thought that to. I'm a fan of both teams.
Probably because they're shopping him now, and not in 2015 Leddy has been a disaster in the past few seasons and his contract is an albatross.Crazy that Isles fans are willing to receive such a small package for a top pairing D.
Leddy can still play consistent top 4 minutes with special teams. Jack Johnson on the other hand would look good in the AHL in a bottom pairing role.Probably because they're shopping him now, and not in 2015 Leddy has been a disaster in the past few seasons and his contract is an albatross.

Leddy has looked a lot better with Andy Greene then he had with Boychuk the past few years. Boychuk may be the reason his game has looked shot recently. He’s also a decent trade chip that’s not on that bad of a contract based on his skill set but the Isles want to clear out cap space.buddy you do not need to educate me on jack johnson
Leddy can still play those minute, you're right. He sucks in them, but technically yes he can play them.
To be fair, the entire Islanders blue line has looked great in the playoffs so far, I'm not sure I'd say that that reverses a several-season sample size in which his numbers without Johnny Boychuk have also been terrible.Leddy has looked a lot better with Andy Greene then he had with Boychuk the past few years. The Isles blue line has looked solid all season until Pelech went down and the team fell apart back in January. The only difference is that Greene is in and Boychuk is in the press box. Most defenseman in his role are making $4+ a season. There’s next to none in a top 4 role that are way below that. Is he overpaid? Yes but not by an insane amount and a team with a bit of space that wants a LHD with skill will be able to afford him easily. To be fair, the entire Islanders blue line has looked great in the playoffs so far, I'm not sure I'd say that that reverses a several-season sample size in which his numbers without Johnny Boychuk have also been terrible.
He's got a visible skill set for sure, and I'm sure someone will overpay for him because he skates fast, but IMO he's worth nothing even approaching $5.5M per season.
But the guy that came up with that line ended up murdered.Still holding out hope for a 1st for Leddy. People say I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one.
We don't want to trade him, but we need to dump cap. And he's the most logical to trade to dump cap as he has value league wide and the NYI have enough depth on defense to withstand losing him.Crazy that Isles fans are willing to receive such a small package for a top pairing D.
