Well you can take kakko out bc that was a given in his draft year. I like the Kravy, Chytl, and lindkvist picks. The rest? Sadly garbage right now

I mean the Kakko pick was gonna be made no matter who was scouting but thats pretty underwhelming outside of finding Lundkvist Kravtsov and Chytil in the 1st round. Everything outside of the 1st round is pretty much nothing.

Outside of the 1st round is usually nothing and that's a terrific 1st round.

Yeah that's fair to say. And it's the same people saying this is a franchise killing move who will then turn around and say our drafting is terrible because it isn't perfect.

Be thankful that the Rangers are being proactive and looking for a philosophical shift even though they haven't been *bad*.

We could be like another New York team, rotting from the inside with the exact same weaknesses for several years, with the front office doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down that those weaknesses are actually strengths. There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

I'm not asking for perfect I am asking for them to draft and develop just one of their own franchise offensive talent instead of the same "safe" players that we know we will get solid NHL production from but they have a clear ceiling.
