From an outsider perspective it seems like there's a love of fear mongering in this thread. Obviously things aren't ideal in Niagara but it's one guy that I don't think has ever said a positive thing about the team without throwing a caveat that it doesn't matter because something bad is happening.

I understand your point of view. I love our players and our coach, however, i don't trust our owner and I don't like what he has done managing our team and our draft capital.

You are not that bad. Could it be better yes, but again, there are teams below you that could also say the same.

Please do not compare it to Oshwaw, Kitchener or London. These teams have had a long history and Season tickets are a right of passage, They alsohave a strong ownership group that has been around a long time.

The thing is, we had a steady run at 4th and an even longer run in 5th since the MC opened. We have an amazing arena and a very strong hockey community. We are now in the realm of communities that don't have a great facility or who have always been fickle about hockey.

No... It's like he has connections and wants to keep the fans informed as to what's actually going on because the ownership certainly doesn't. @Sam14 is usually first with trade rumours and other assorted good news.

More than once I've seen a hint from him about something then called upon my own sources to confirm it. So far my independent colleagues will only say that the OHL is involved but won't confirm why.

I'm not surprised I'm just disappointed...

It seems like the only appropriate action from the OHL at this point is to hope to find another decent ownership group for a great hockey market who has been through the ringer..

Unfortunately an entirely predictable outcome...

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the gong show going on behind the scenes. Root for loses and hope for a change. Thankfully I think DDD's demise is near!

Haven’t been a STH for a few years now. But, went to OLP last night. Great show!

That development camp never felt like it was the typical rookie camp where you invite your draft picks and some free agents and get a look at the guys.

It felt like a camp that a huge amount of junior A and B teams do. Pay to play. Its basically a fundraiser.
