Hey Guys, Windsor Spitfire fan and resident here. Just like to congratulate you guys on a great win against London. I must say I believe your team is so much better than the record shows. They beat and give the best teams in the league all they can handle. That He is just a monster, and where did this goalie Jeffrey come from? Kid played amazing tonight. All i Can say is the playoffs are a different season all together and i would be a bit nervous running in the doggies. Great game from what could be a great team !

In anything can happ In junior hockey the Icedogs ended their twelve game winless streaking beating the number one team in the country the London Knights 6 to 4 behind He hat trick. Falcon goalkeeper Jeffery with the win making forty saves. The game was the Icedogs third sellout of tge season 5,300 . Next game Wednesday night in Sudbury

That was the best game of the year! Awesome game by the dogs. Poor sportsmanship at the end of the game led by Arrowsmith (a former Knight) and Kevin He as they skated in front of the London fans, who travelled for the game, and waved good bye to them.
I disagree. It was fun.

Although that might be the carlsburg lite talking.

It really was like the glory days of the MC. Big crowd. Paying close attention to the hockey. Concourse packed during intermission. Seeing lots of familiar faces. The IceDogs were clearly motivated by the atmosphere.

What a game for Jeffrey. He was practically speechless during the first star interview. So happy for him.

St Catharines Falcons GOHL best team in their division

Just staying hi to old friends London fans were chirping I imagine

It took the play of one man to derail London off their game, without taking away the Ice Dogs' well played game, and He's hat trick. However, how Noah Van Vliet threw off London's leading scorer for most of the rest of the game after he knocked him down. Yes, Van Vliet took some bad penalties, but he also got the Knights mad at him, in doing so took them off their game. He also fought the Knights best defense, putting him out of action for 17 minutes of penalties.

You want to beat the Knights, send players like Van Vliet out on the ice, when roughed up a bit, London would rather flex their bisects instead of concentration on their skating leg muscle, been saying this for quite some time now. Well done Ice Dogs, it only takes a game like tonight to get you back at winning again.

At the moment next years training camp is looking like show me what you’ve got between Moffet Humphries and Jeffery. Don’t necessarily need a different goalie at seasons start. Can always pick one up mid season if some combination of those 3 isn’t working.

I totally 100 % agree...the value Van Vliet brought to the game tonight was immeasurable. Not only did he rough up everything and everyone that moved, he got the Knights off their game. I think you have to lay out a few of their skilled guys early and often. This gets them looking over their shoulders and as mentioned gets them off their game. Even with a couple phantom calls the London Ladies received the dogs battled on. Great effort everyone.

If the season ended today we would be 6th and play Kingston. So far this season we are 2 and 1 against them. So its not a terrible match up for us.

Kingston is our next home game and it is a week from today. That will be interesting. Lots of tickets are left.
If they get Flores back I think your best shot at causing an upset in round 1 would be Kingston

The dogs always surprise me when I see their team play live. Currently, I live out of town so I don’t get to see them much, but man, this team has grit.

They were in it from the start, even when they were down 5v3, the bench was up and cheering their teammates on.

He was incredible. Roobroek looks awesome. These guys will be pushing for the Mem Cup for the next 2 years easily. Fun game last night, and loved it when they gave it to the Knights fans at the end.

I’d argue that He has been the best captain this team has had in a very long time.
