How much longer would you have left Flores in for?It is irresponsible of our coaching staff to keep throwing a 16 year old goalie out there to play in front of a team that can't play defence. This performance is embarrassing
Best have their slump now, 5 weeks before the playoffs, plenty of time to recuperate and adjusting. They'll get their skating cold paws back before longWorst loss of the season tonight 10:tom1 giving up sx power play goals in ten short handed situations. Three Bulldogs had tricks Lardis Van Ackerman’s Brown .Next game Sunday afternoon against Brantford weather permitting.
I agree with DF that putting a 16 year old in the spots he’s been put into isn’t great however Flores play the last couple games hasn’t been great either (other than erie) which doesn’t leave them with a lot of choicesHow much longer would you have left Flores in for?
I can only speak to last night - and I agree not an ideal position for a 16 yr old goalie - but all things considered I was impressed by Humphries last night.I agree with DF that putting a 16 year old in the spots he’s been put into isn’t great however Flores play the last couple games hasn’t been great either (other than erie) which doesn’t leave them with a lot of choices
I agree with Babs regarding the game last night. However, think I would have kept Flores in there for the second to see if he could pull it together. We should reserve games for Humphries against teams that struggle to score and those teams at the bottom of the standings...not the team with the Number 1 power play.I can only speak to last night - and I agree not an ideal position for a 16 yr old goalie - but all things considered I was impressed by Humphries last night.
Hopefully he can pull the positives out of these moments and build on it. 5/6 of his goals were PPG from the top PP in the league.
At some point I think they just made the decision that Flores could use the rest, and that Humphries was going to be the sacrifice. Hard thing to put on the shoulders of the kid, but sometimes it has to be done.I agree with Babs regarding the game last night. If they play weather doesn’t look goodBig crowd tomorrow. Close to 5k sold already. Hope they get to watch a victory and not another blowout.
I can't believe that today's game has not been cancelled yet. I guess money is more important than OHL player safety. #SELLTHETEAM!!!!!If they play weather doesn’t look good
I keep checking, about 45 minutes from the rink down the QEW. Im not sure it will be canceled at this point.I can't believe that today's game has not been cancelled yet. I guess money is more important than OHL player safety. #SELLTHETEAM!!!!!
The tickets are sold regardless of a postponement.I hope the Bulldogs get here safely. The owners should be the adults in the rooms and cancel this game. Our owner is cheap and with 5,000 seats sold he can't walk from easy short term funding.
If anything you're hurting your revenue by playing today. Gates are sold, but concessions will be limited. The tickets are sold regardless of a postponement.
Forget the owners this should be and likely is a league decision if the teams are already there (Brantford especially) they’re going to play I wouldn’t be surprised if they came yesterday. I’ve said this before on another topic and I’ll say it here I don’t like DDD as much as anyone else but this very likely wasn’t his call to makeI hope the Bulldogs get here safely. Yeah, I'm sure the league consults with both teams, but there is no way its just in the hands of the home team.Forget the owners this should be and likely is a league decision if the teams are already there (Brantford especially) they’re going to play I wouldn’t be surprised if they came yesterday. Not an IceDog decision.I can't believe that today's game has not been cancelled yet. I guess money is more important than OHL player safety. #SELLTHETEAM!!!!!

Probably half the expected crowd will show up if that.If anything you're hurting your revenue by playing today. Gates are sold, but concessions will be limited.
I still think im making the drive, my wife is not thrilled.
Steve Clark said they left around 10:30 this morning if that’s the case I’m VERY SURPRISED the bulldogs and the league gave the green lightStill No Roobroeck Paris in warmups
Probably came yesterday
Probably half the expected crowd will show up if that.
Yea it could be terrible down to the 3-5 string goalies to end the year and possibly the playoffs wouldn’t be idealThat Flores injury could be real, real bad for Niagara. Hope he's okay, did not look good.
