How much longer would you have left Flores in for?It is irresponsible of our coaching staff to keep throwing a 16 year old goalie out there to play in front of a team that can't play defence. This performance is embarrassing
Best have their slump now, 5 weeks before the playoffs, plenty of time to recuperate and adjusting. They'll get their skating cold paws back before longWorst loss of the season tonight 10:tom1 giving up sx power play goals in ten short handed situations. Three Bulldogs had tricks Lardis Van Ackerman’s Brown .Next game Sunday afternoon against Brantford weather permitting.
I agree with DF that putting a 16 year old in the spots he’s been put into isn’t great however Flores play the last couple games hasn’t been great either (other than erie) which doesn’t leave them with a lot of choicesHow much longer would you have left Flores in for?
I can only speak to last night - and I agree not an ideal position for a 16 yr old goalie - but all things considered I was impressed by Humphries last night.I agree with DF that putting a 16 year old in the spots he’s been put into isn’t great however Flores play the last couple games hasn’t been great either (other than erie) which doesn’t leave them with a lot of choices
I agree with Babs regarding the game last night. However, think I would have kept Flores in there for the second to see if he could pull it together. We should reserve games for Humphries against teams that struggle to score and those teams at the bottom of the standings...not the team with the Number 1 power play.I can only speak to last night - and I agree not an ideal position for a 16 yr old goalie - but all things considered I was impressed by Humphries last night.
Hopefully he can pull the positives out of these moments and build on it. 5/6 of his goals were PPG from the top PP in the league.
