Where was He and Roobroeck in the shootout

Tough loss in Erie in a shootout 2 to 1 . Ran into a hot goaltender tonight.

This is not the first time we had these odd choices for the shootout. I really don't understand it.

My wife and I were joking around about who Coach Ben will choose for the shootout. We LOL'd when Scott was announced.

Anybody with any insight as to why we are not just going with our leading scorers?

Going with the hot hand in shoot-out practice is normal.
Player ability to handle in game vs practice pressures should be considered though. Loshko, Roobroek, He, Levin, Wassilyn should be automatic imo.

The IceDogs have scored only goal in a shootout this season.

“We’re looking for anybody and everybody. We started doing shootout practises and keeping the winners. And obviously, Blair Scott won the first one and Galiyanov won the second one and Loshko won the third one,” Boudreau said. “Trying to switch things up and just keep trying to find solutions here on how to win.”

Well, let’s wait and see Brantford’s lineup tonight. They have been playing short-staffed for a couple of weeks now. Last game, 9 players were out.
Still really short when it comes to depth, but it does look like we get Brown, Crombie, and Avery back.

Testa, Jiricek, Tsherna and some other depth still missing.

Egorov will be out for some time. You'll probably get Leenders both games this weekend.

Watch for it…

It is irresponsible of our coaching staff to keep throwing a 16 year old goalie out there to play in front of a team that can't play defence. This performance is embarrassing
