I'll start spending on the team again when the owner does. I paid my dues while he cut corners. I shelled out full freight while he trimmed the budget and ran the team into the ground.
Let's see a team that drafts the best players by a competent GM, with skilled scouts. An owner who isn't afraid to pay for European players, or those from the US. Someone who treats the players well so drafted players want to report.
This season isn't over yet. The trade deadline hasn't event been reached. In the meantime the games come to me online and I cheer every goal we get. So far I have nothing to admit.

I know... I watch the games online. The first half of the season has been exciting.
Yes I forgot Paris. I agree AA is by far and away the leading candidate. Honestly Scott has been impressing me more than Wycisk lately. Bigger and more defence minded. Wycisk and Virgilio are both 5’ 11” offensive defenceman. I’d rather more size at that back next year. and I like Robertson but would feel weird having to use an OA on a goalie who has never been a starter in his OHL career.
Right now the goalie system is

07 Moffet GOJHL all star with Fort Erie
06 Jeffery GOJHL goalie of the month with St. Catharines
I don’t mind the idea of using the import draft (think Erliden) to get the guy if one of the above can’t do it.
As Knowescape and others have said they have cheaper out in the import department that must change next year to be serious.
Kevin He and Ryan Roobroeck have only one more OHL year remaining (25-26 season). IceDogs have no choice (other than to trade both of them at the trade deadline next season) but to go all in next year (25-26).

The calibre of such players as … Imports G.Eliasson, J.Fibigr; A.Jiricek; T.Hamara; E.Pieniniemi; OR T.Bertucci, K.Aitcheson, B.Akey; Q.Burns, B.Danford; HMews; M.Schaefer; N.Collins; C.Allen; M.Andonovski, K.Smith; Z.Parekh; L.Fischer; A.Gibson; S.Dickinson, O.Bonk. No team is winning a championship if they don’t have players of this calibre in their first pairing. Wysick and Brauti would be a solid compliment as the second pairing.

Correct, DD should get zero credit. Ben Boudreau, on the other hand, is developing the young talent we got to come to Niagara. Hope he doesn't get better offers from other teams
Without those improvements I listed, the IceDogs will NOT be near good enough next year to win a championship, you MUST know that!?

Alriksson traded to Brampton. I wouldn’t say no to grabbing Vaculik for Pennies as not many teams have the free import slot.
Actually, if you knew anything about the IceDogs or attended even one game at the Meridian centre this decade, you would know the mess is 100% about cut backs and 100% created by DD. You being completely oblivious to that is really not surprising based what you post on here is mostly nonsense.

The team turned over next year is not good enough to win a championship everyone who follows the OHL would acknowledge that. So if the roster isn't improved to match those other rosters who responsible for that?

Its like you can't mention the elephant in the room. The team is HOT. We are tied in points for the lead of the Conference half way thru the season. We have a deeper roster than we have had in 5 or more years.

I used to Luchanko as an example, but if he were available for the 25-26 season that would be the target 100%. IceDogs than need two elite NHL D and G and their roster would be a lot closer to the top OHL teams next year. All that (Imports included) cost big money and draft capital, at the moment, the IceDogs have neither.
Oh look he’d be free. Either depth piece or trade someone like Levin who wouldn’t be back as an OA.

DD would likely take him provided Brampton was willing to absorb any of the costs associated with this particular import. Contract details unknown.
GM/Owner are responsible for a lot of the bad but they also get some credit for some of the good this off season. A lot of the adds are looking like good adds. Arrowsmith, Brauti, Loshko. Virgilio and Scott looking better even though I agree with you about Virgilio being an overpay. This off season will be the big front office test to see the import oa and goalie situation. I think DD would use the import picks better in a go for it situation. I would hope at least.

Actually, I was referring to all cut backs that we have seen over DD's three seasons, player educational packages trades, recruitment issues, scouting staff, draft (US players), import signings, media/scout area presentation, bus meals, etc... not just specifically to the arena (e.g., game day presentation, donation 2.00 vouchers promo 500% increase to $10.00) are all 100% on DD. Since day one, DD came in an immediately cut cost! 100's of STH who saw this simply refuse to support that. He needs to spend money make money in this market
And it never ends...a few more front office employees are no longer with the IceDogs. DD will now assume the job of billet coordinator to add to owner/GM. wtf
The arena comment was specifically directed at dirty12. He comes on an IceDogs site and comments about a team he doesn’t attend games (nor a fan of). He recently called out another individual to comment on teams you only have live viewings of and yet here he is. The last time he was at the MC was 2017 (one game).
I agree with you on the recruitment scouting and drafting stuff and I’m probably in the minority but I’m not really that bothered with the game day changes I found with foregrounds and all the in game stuff you missed a lot of big replay

And since he is probably subsidizing each game to make up for attendance shortfalls I can see him trying to accelerate the timeline to this year. I can see him going all in this year and then selling at a loss, just to stem the bleeding.
